We will begin registering for Camp Discovery on Monday, March 13 for 1st-4th graders! Session 1 will be from 6/12-6/30 and Session 2 will be from 7/10-7/28. All meals are included. Check your email for the flyer and registration forms.
Rockin' at the Swamp is happening at Brec's Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center in Baton Rouge, on Saturday, March 11th from 9am-4pm. Check out the attached flier and the events section for more details.

Admissions Update:
Thank you to the 1,352 applicants who applied to Kenner Discovery for the 2017-18 school year. With a 99% re-enrollment of current students, 15 admitted faculty students, and 81 admitted siblings of current students; we have no openings in grades Kindergarten through 8th.
All applicants who applied for grades Kindergarten through 8th will be pulled for a wait list spot only at the lottery. The lottery is open to the public, but your presence is not required. The school will notify applicants of the lottery results the following week. We appreciate your interest and trust in KDHSA as we grow this school.

As a reminder, we will have early dismissal on Tuesday, March 7, 2017. Students will be dismissed as follows:
1:50pm - PreK/K Rivertown
2:10pm - All other students from usual pick up points
Parents of MS/HS students with Green Placards may not enter the horseshoe before 2:15.
Community Works after school enrichment will be provided for students who have signed up. Please make the necessary arrangements for student pick-up. Bus service will be provided.

On Friday, March 3, 2017, all students are allowed to wear any college or university shirt or sweatshirt along with their regular uniform bottom. The shirt or sweatshirt can be worn over the uniform jumper. (NO tank tops, spaghetti straps, or sleeveless shirts are allowed.)

Power has been restored at the Maine Ave. Campus. Parents may begin bringing students through carpool at 8:30. Buses will begin picking up students from their normal pickup location at 8:45am. Classes will begin at 9:00 a.m. Students will follow their normal schedule.
