Parents and Guardians, There are some very exciting fidgets (medical toys) being brought to campus each day. Unfortunately, these are only permitted for students who have provided documentation from a medical professional stating it is necessary for them to be successful at school each day due to their medical diagnosis. Please do not allow your child to bring any toys or fidgets to school if they do not have permission from their designated principal/administrator. These will be collected from students who are not permitted to have them and only returned to parents/guardians at the end of the year. Thank you for assisting with this, KDHSA Administration TEAM

Parents, We will hold two final camp registration days next week, Tuesday and Wednesday April 25th and 26th, in the cafeteria from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm to fill all remaining camp seats. Current Availability: Prek/k - 10 seats remaining 1st and 2nd grade - four seats remaining in both , 3rd and 4th grade - six seats remaining in both 5th and 6th grade.- six seats remaining in both All seats will be filled on a first come first served basis. You may also send registrations forms to school between now and next Tuesday, April 25. All deposits are due at the time of registration and camp payments are due in June. 6th Grade Parents with Leased Chromebooks: Please send your student to school with their leased Chromebook AND charger tomorrow, Wednesday, April 19th. 5th Grade Parents with Leased Chromebooks: Due to the 5th grade assignments on the Chromebooks this week, 5th graders will be allowed to keep their Chromebooks and chargers through Friday. They will turn in both the leased Chromebook AND the charger to their homeroom teachers on Friday, April 21st in the afternoon. Please email [email protected] with any additional questions.

KDHSA Families, SUMMER CAMP and BRIDGES REGISTRATION It's not to late to sign up for camp Prek-6 OR Bridges K-8!! Thursday, April 6, students may pay $2 to dress down in a KDHSA shirt, (PE, spirit shirt, team shirt, etc.), jeans, and tennis shoes. All proceeds go towards new tricycles for our Rivertown campus!

KDHSA 5th graders will be preforming at the Annual JPPSS Martin Marino Ballroom Dance Challenge. The event will take place Wednesday, April 5th at 6:00pm at the Ponchartrain Center. All are invited and admission is free.

Delayed Start 4/3/2017: Due to severe thunderstorms we will have a delayed start this morning at 9:00am. Bus pick will began at 8:20am. All staff should arrive by 8:30am.
