Field Day 2017
We will being having Field Day on Monday, May 22nd on Maine Campus. We are looking for parent volunteers to help with the activities for the students. We have broken it up into two time slots of 45 minutes each (1:50-2:35pm and 2:35-3:20pm). You may sign up for more than one time slot if you are available! The Last N.E.S.T. PTO General Meeting will be tonight, Wednesday, May 10th at 7:00pm. This meeting will be located in the Swamp Owl Cafe'.

Jennifer Harris, Science Lab Instructor, will be telling us all about what is in store at the KDHSA Annual Health Fair on May 20th.
Kelly Davidson, Camp Discovery camp director will give the inside scoop on Camp Discovery, as well as have sign up sheets available for last minute Camp Discovery sign-ups!
Curious what there is to do in the summer in Kenner in between Camp Discovery? A member from City of Kenner Recreation Department will be on hand to discuss these adventures!
Are your kids addicted to technology? Want to know how to manage screen time and technology usage for your students over the summer? Come listen to KDHSA Educational Technology Integration Specialist and the KDHSA Counseling Department give you tips and tricks on how to have a screen free summer!
All new N.E.S.T. PTO Officer speeches and voting will occur at this meeting.
We will have many door prizes, including Owl Shop Bucks and a raffle for two student fees (value up to $75 each), as well as many crafty, donated prizes.

Parents and Guardians,
There are some very exciting fidgets (medical toys) being brought to campus each day. Unfortunately, these are only permitted for students who have provided documentation from a medical professional stating it is necessary for them to be successful at school each day due to their medical diagnosis. Please do not allow your child to bring any toys or fidgets to school if they do not have permission from their designated principal/administrator. These will be collected from students who are not permitted to have them and only returned to parents/guardians at the end of the year.
