We have also added Spirit Shirts to our inventory and will NOT be doing a pre-order for those items. Please head over to our online store, create a family account, Join our NEST PTO and get some PE/Spirit items on order! Please keep checking back as we add new inventory to our store!

KDHSA Families:
Our 7th & 8th graders have an amazing opportunity to experience an educational tour of Washington, D.C. in the spring of 2018. Let's support our students by coming out to Ice Computer Cafe on Friday, September 8, 2017 from 6pm-10pm. Please see the attached flyer for more information. Please contact KDHSA parent, Jolene Spell at [email protected] if you have any questions.
Dear parents/guardians,
The Kenner Discovery administration along with the City of Kenner, elected officials and contractors have made every effort to begin school as planned for the high school. However, the extreme weather conditions have caused a delay in completing the construction project. The final step of completing electrical connections has been a challenge due to the local weather conditions and the need in Houston.
The start date for high school is now Monday, September 11, 2017. Rather than extending the school year into June, the high school will add 2 days to the week of Thanksgiving break (November 20 & 21) and add 2 days to the winter break (December 18 & 19). Follow the link to see the revised high school calendar on the school website.
Build-A-Classroom day is postponed to Saturday, September 9th. New Student Orientation and Book Day are still scheduled on Friday, September 1st. We appreciate your patience and flexibility throughout the building process.
With HEART,
Patty Glaser, Ph.D.
