The Jefferson Parish School Board voted in favor of a 10-year charter renewal for Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy.
\r\nTo earn the ten year renewal, Discovery has demonstrated academic achievement while increasing the at-risk population. Discovery is proud to be an open enrollment school with no testing requirement for admission. For the past 3 consecutive years, Discovery has earned an A rating from the Louisiana Department of Education. Currently, in its 5th year, Discovery educates 1,215 students in Pre-K through 10th grade.
